Just Stuff

Even though we only had school four days this week, it was a long week. Perhaps it was because our day off was a Tuesday. Thank you very much for giving us two Mondays in one week! However, the increasing tensions in the office could be the reason. I did decide that it was a tension headache I had for three days. At first I thought it was sinus, but when it became clear to me that the headache subsided when I got home and returned about a half hour upon arrival at school, well duh.

The headaches are a result of my TMJ which is a result of clenching my jaw; grinding my teeth. When others in the office identify my ink pens by the teeth marks, well you know there's a problem. Two dental appointments ago my dentist told me that all of my teeth are fractured, as a result of this. Worker's Comp??????I've had two custom made mouth pieces - to relieve the jaw pressure, but I bit them in two. I think it would be easier to deal with if my teeth grinding was during sleep, like it is for most people.

Tomorrow begins another week and I hope by some miracle, I'll arrive in a place where everyone is happy and NICE.

Yesterday was a good day. Ramona and I had our annual deer hunting shopping day. I refer to it this way, because it's a day when all of Ramona's menfolk are hunting, so we have a girl's day out. We began at 8:30 and got home around 5:30. Lunch is always the highlight of the day and this year we chose the Olive Garden. We later snacked at O'Charley's - Caramel Pie!I got a lot of Christmas shopping done, and what didn't get done at the mall was completed online by 9:00 p.m.

This morning, before church, I caught up on the wrapping. So until the the online orders begin to arrive, I'm up-to-date.

After church I prepared lunch and took my Bengals Nap. It's a Bengal's nap because nap is what I do while Jeff is watching the Bengals lose - I mean play. Spending Sundays at home so we can watch losers is getting to me. Jeff works six days a week and when Sunday is the only day we have together, I'm really getting tired of spending it watching him watch TV. The joys of marriage.

Aren't you glad you read this? Let us have a good week!

For Instance

First, let me preface this by saying that it is daily made clear to me that ~99% of the people in my building are considered my superiors.

Conversation today:

Me to one of my superiors: This gentleman is here to see you.

Superior to visitor (a parent): WELL, let me drop EVERYTHING I was doing to talk to you.

Now tell me, HOW can I deal with this???????????
